USING THE PER STIRPES CALCULATOR

  Begin with the deceased heirs who are of equal relation with one another and must have a dollar amount divided among their issue
    > Enter ONLY the number of deceased heirs with LIVING issue (descendants)
    > If $100,000 must be divided among the issue of three deceased siblings, the first question is answered with ‘3’
    > These deceased heirs are referenced as the “TOP LEVEL” while answering subsequent questions

  Enter the total dollar amount to be divided among the issue of these “TOP LEVEL” deceased heirs
    > If $100,000 must be divided among the issue of three deceased siblings, the second question is answered with ‘100000’

  Enter the name of each deceased heir when prompted
    > Entered names are used for reference when collecting data and when providing the final result

  Enter the number of each deceased heir’s living children and deceased children when asked
    > Enter ONLY the number of deceased children with LIVING issue (descendants)
